Letter from Our Leadership
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA), a statewide public virtual school serving Tennessee students in grades K–12. At VSVA, we believe every student can achieve at high levels when they are challenged, supported, and surrounded by people who believe in their potential. Our mission is to prepare students for success in college, career, and life through rigorous instruction, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to continuous growth.
This year, our theme is Leave No Doubt. It reflects our commitment to ensuring there is no doubt that every student is learning, growing, and prepared for their future. We believe excellence doesn’t happen by chance—it is built every day through our 5 Rs:
- Rigor – We leave no doubt that students are learning at high levels.
- Relationships – We leave no doubt that every student is known, valued, and supported.
- Reflection – We leave no doubt that we learn from both our successes and our challenges.
- Repetition – We leave no doubt that excellence comes from consistent practice.
- Reinforcement – We leave no doubt that positive habits are recognized, encouraged, and sustained.
When you enroll at VSVA, you’re joining more than a school—you’re becoming part of a community committed to helping every student succeed. Our dedicated teachers provide engaging live instruction, personalized support, and high expectations that prepare students to earn their diploma with confidence while developing the skills they need to thrive beyond high school.
We believe that when students are challenged, supported, and held to high expectations, extraordinary things happen. Together with our families, we are building a culture where attendance matters, engagement is expected, accountability is embraced, and every learner has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Thank you for trusting us to be your partner in your child’s educational journey. We look forward to a year of growth, achievement, and leaving no doubt about what our students can accomplish.
Best regards,
Stacy Stuppy
